Raatwerk, a provider of the SaaS software solution “Arbo Management System” for occupational health and safety and prevention, is becoming part of the Kader Group. Hogenhouck M&A advised Raatwerk’s owners, Marja van Slageren and Michiel Ridder, on this transaction.
Digitization of Risk Identification and Assessment
Michiel Ridder founded the predecessor to Raatwerk in 1998 and, with the AMS system, became the leading specialist in digital Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E). Owners Michiel Ridder and Marja van Slageren further expanded the system into a modular platform for risk inventories in the areas of occupational health and safety within organizations.
Kader is the market leader in consulting and training in this field. Joining forces creates a powerful combination. Raatwerk, founded in 1998, drew on its vision and experience to develop the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (AMS) for conducting digital Risk Assessments and Evaluations. This modular software solution—designed for both small and larger, more complex organizations—provides structure, insight, and ensures compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines and preventive measures. Many thousands of users in government, healthcare, and commercial companies use the AMS system. In addition, Raatwerk provides guidance on conducting the RI&Es and trains prevention officers to work with the AMS.
