Yellowstar makes supply chains predictable
Yellowstar offers web-based solutions that provide real-time insight, access, and control over the supply chain. As of January 2021, the company had approximately 80 employees and reported annual revenue of approximately €8 million. Yellowstar, which was founded in 2009 and is based in Barendrecht, makes supply chains predictable and transparent. The company also develops customized software solutions for transportation management systems, dynamic planning boards, terminal control systems, and customer and carrier portals. The software enables all partners in the supply chain to collaborate seamlessly 24/7.
ICT Group Further Expands Its Software Offering
The acquisition of Yellowstar is in line with ICT’s growth strategy. Yellowstar operates in the same geographic markets and strengthens ICT’s position in the industrial, commercial, retail, and logistics sectors. Yellowstar’s high-end, proprietary IP software for supply chain solutions will expand ICT’s software portfolio and recurring revenue base.
One's own identity remains intact
Yellowstar will continue to operate under its own identity and offer solutions tailored to specific customer groups. Its distinctive services and innovative, people-centered approach will remain unchanged. Stijn Scheepers, CEO of Yellowstar: “We look forward to becoming part of the ICT Group. For us, this lays the foundation for further growth in the markets where we operate with our IP software for supply chain solutions. I am convinced that we are a true complement to the ICT Group’s existing portfolio and that we will strengthen each other. Customers will benefit above all from our greater operational strength and business power.”
Joining Forces in the Logistics and Industrial Market
ICT Group is a leading provider of industrial technology with offices in the Netherlands, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, and Sweden. The group is listed on Euronext Amsterdam. Jos Blejie, CEO of ICT Group: “I am delighted to welcome the people at Yellowstar as our new colleagues. The company provides services to a renowned, high-quality customer base and has an international focus. This acquisition is important for ICT because it strengthens our position in the logistics and industrial markets and expands our own portfolio of IP solutions.”
