The video recruitment platform Cammio has been acquired by the online job platform StepStone. Recruitment and selection are increasingly taking place online and via video. Cammio’s platform supports the entire video recruitment process. It makes recruitment and selection more personalized and efficient for recruiters and candidates. By joining the StepStone Group—part of Axel Springer—Cammio has further opportunities for international growth. Hogenhouck advised Cammio’s shareholders and co-investors on this sale.

An Important Step in the International Growth Strategy

Cammio was founded in 2013 by entrepreneurs Walter Hueber (CEO) and Bas Dirkse (CTO). The company has 20 employees and offices in The Hague and Düsseldorf. As part of the StepStone Group—which has 3,300 employees in 50 countries—Cammio can continue to grow internationally. CEO Walter Hueber will continue to lead Cammio following the acquisition.
