AH&BC, also known as "Amsterdam," is one of the largest and most successful field hockey clubs in the Netherlands, with 2,300 members and numerous national titles, including 21 for Men's 1 and 20 for Women's 1. The club is strong at the top of the premier league as well as in broadcasting, with 1100 seniors and 1200 youth members on the fields every week. Since its founding in 1892, Amsterdam has built a rich history and produced many top players from its own youth academy.
