Consulting firm Squerist has attracted Green Park Investment Partners to further grow in the areas of software testing and business transformation. Hogenhouck m&a assisted the owners of Squerist in this transaction.
Cross-pollination between specialists
Focus on unique specialty in software testing
Robert Govers and Nils van Schaik joined Squerist in 2004 and expanded the company to more than 100 employees with offices in Veenendaal, Amsterdam, and Maastricht. The company's long-standing focus on 'people first' led, among other things, to the 'Great Place to Work' certificate (in the top 5 in 2022!).
Nils van Schaik, general manager of Squerist on the next step together with Green Park: "We see the industry consolidating, but do not believe in 'mass is cash'. The test specialists within Green Park each offer a unique specialty and culture and we want to complement each other in this. By working together we are stronger, but also broader."
The collaboration of the testing companies will not lead to an integration of the three organizations. Each of the companies is authentic and wants to remain independently focused on their specialties, with their own people and culture. Together, they will continue to put personal craftsmanship at the center. The three test specialists will, however, complement each other within Green Park, for example in tenders or in employee training.
Partnership of strong companies
Green Park believes in the continued growth of the software testing market and, with its investment in Squerist and PTWEE, is increasing its investment in this specialized sector. This move fits into the investor's focus to support entrepreneurs with a strong vision for the future and talented management teams in their growth.
Gijs Marbus, partner at Green Park: "The tightness in the labor market has never been greater. Focus on digitalization and quality people is therefore enormously important. Companies that put the employee first and do justice to the employee are, in my view, the winners of the future. Green Park believes there is a need for partnerships of strong, independent and knowledge-driven companies. We find this vision strongly present at Squerist, Bartosz as well as PTWEE."
