Industrial rental company Indu-Tools acquires Belgian industry peer I-Rental

Industrial equipment rental company Indu-Tools has acquired a majority stake in Antwerp-based industry peer I-Rental. Together, the companies have a wide reach with eight locations and serve the Dutch, Belgian, French, and German markets. This makes it the largest independent rental specialist in the Benelux. Hogenhouck M&A advised the shareholders of Indu-Tools on this acquisition.

Machinery and Tools for Industry and Offshore Applications

Indu-Tools specializes in the rental of machinery and tools for the industrial, metal, and offshore sectors, offering, among other things, welding equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools, as well as power, compressed air, and lighting. Indu-Tools provides customers with a comprehensive package of services during turnarounds and projects, and a staffed on-site shop is also available. Indu-Tools is headquartered in Rotterdam and has branches in Beverwijk and at the Esso and Shell sites in Rotterdam.

Industrial Tools and Utilities


I-Rental specializes in the comprehensive provision of industrial tools and temporary utilities such as lighting, compressed air, and electricity. I-Rental has locations in Antwerp, Ghent, Mons, Liège, and Le Havre (France).

Using the Rental Fleet Even More Efficiently

The day-to-day management of Indu-Tools and I-Rental will remain unchanged. In addition, a newly formed umbrella management team will work together on various integration issues. The new group has a combined workforce of about 100 employees.
