Finalist, an open-source IT specialist in the field of application development and management with a focus on healthcare and education, will acquire iProfs in February 2016. iProfs designs, builds, and manages web applications that help its clients achieve their online objectives. These may include websites, portals, and/or mobile solutions. iProfs offers its services through staff secondment and on a project basis, including management if desired. Java technology is at the heart of its solutions. iProfs employs 45 people. Finalist, founded in 1988 and operating from Maarssen, Rotterdam, and Eindhoven, conceives, designs, and develops software to implement open IT solutions. With these solutions, it helps organizations collaborate more closely with their stakeholders by fostering understanding, insight, and openness. Through consulting, projects, and management, Finalist creates intelligent websites, custom applications, and integration solutions. Finalist employs 90 people. Hogenhouck acted on behalf of Finalist (the buyer).
