IT service provider Rvados has joined forces with Böschen IT Group. With this move, Böschen IT Group is strengthening its managed services capacity in the Netherlands and continuing to build out Reliance, its managed services platform. Hogenhouck M&A advised Rvados on this transaction.

Expanding managed services capacity

Rvados is a well-established name in the Dutch IT landscape and supports organizations with reliable and scalable managed services. In addition, the company possesses in-depth expertise in digital transformation, cloud migration, Microsoft Security, and AI. With a strong focus on business continuity, ease of use, and operational support, Rvados has built a solid position in the market.

Djamshid Mohammadian, CEO of Rvados: “In addition to managed services, we also provide project-based services related to our clients’ digital work environments. With our focus on Microsoft Security and AI—and as one of the few IT service providers that fully implements the entire Microsoft Security portfolio for clients—we clearly stand out in the market. As part of the Böschen IT Group, we can further build on this strength.”

Further Expansion of Reliance

With the addition of Rvados, Böschen IT Group is further expanding its presence in the Netherlands. Within the group, Reliance serves as the platform for managed services, where the company is building a strong position as a leading IT partner for organizations in the Netherlands. Rvados’ services align well with this strategy and provide a valuable addition to the existing platform.

Kevin Philippen, CEO of Böschen IT Group: “With Rvados, we’re bringing on board a strong IT partner that aligns with how we’re building Reliance: entrepreneurial, engaged, and focused on long-term commitment. Their Microsoft expertise and in-depth knowledge of digital transformation strengthen our platform exactly where our customers need it most.”

Sustainable growth and a long-term focus

The acquisition is in line with the Böschen IT Group’s long-term strategy, which focuses on building a strong and future-proof IT ecosystem. The group invests based on a “forever-hold” strategy and focuses on sustainable growth, quality, and long-term customer relationships. For Rvados, the partnership creates new opportunities for further growth, while the existing organization, teams, and customer relationships remain intact.

This combination offers opportunities to serve customers even better with a broader range of services, additional expertise, and a scalable support structure. At the same time, it preserves the personal approach that Rvados’ customers have come to expect.

The M&A process

Hogenhouck M&A advised 90NORTH, a leading IT incubator, on the strategic review and restructuring of its portfolio of fast-growing technology companies. This collaboration has led to successful carve-outs, including previously Bauhaus Artitech and now Rvados—two companies that emerged from 90NORTH’s innovative ecosystem. Hogenhouck M&A advised Rvados on this transaction through Victor Rosier, Maarten van der Heijden, Bas Schellekens, and Tijmen Bruin.

Hans den Hartog on the collaboration with Hogenhouck M&A: “With in-depth knowledge of the IT industry and a dedicated, expert team that worked with us from start to finish in a consistent lineup, Hogenhouck guided us professionally and to our complete satisfaction through the sale of our stake in Rvados.”
