New York Gym Amsterdam has been acquired by the fitness chain TrainMore. Hogenhouck advised on this transaction as part of TrainMore’s growth strategy. TrainMore is growing rapidly in a hyper-competitive market. This brings the total number of TrainMore clubs in downtown Amsterdam to six, in addition to seven locations in other cities.
“We are fully committed to our ambition of becoming the market leader in the centers of the Netherlands’ largest cities, and the acquisition of New York Gym is another great next step in that direction,” say owners Han Doorenbosch and Marjolijn Meijer. TrainMore establishes itself exclusively in prime locations and focuses on young urbanites.
