Hogenhouck M&A advised the shareholders and management of Bauhaus ArtITech on the sale and strategic integration into Building Beyond Technology Group (BBTG). The transaction marks a significant step forward for Bauhaus ArtITech and, at the same time, strengthens BBTG’s position in IT advisory services within the Dutch technology sector.

About Bauhaus ArtITech

In recent years, Bauhaus ArtITech has evolved into a full-fledged digital transformation agency that seamlessly combines strategic acumen with technical execution. Using a structured "Dream, Define, Deliver" methodology, Bauhaus helps organizations translate their vision into clear steps and sustainable results.

Mark Punselie, CEO of Bauhaus ArtITech: “At Bauhaus, we guide clients in developing a feasible strategy. In addition to strategic consulting through co-creation, our focus is primarily on execution. Our goal is to deliver tangible results so that our clients are able to adapt to change. We use our structured ‘Dream, Define, Deliver’ approach to achieve this. Now we can leverage that strength even more effectively by combining our methodology with the scale and expertise within BBTG.”

Joining BBTG enables Bauhaus ArtITech to apply its methodology on a larger scale, with access to deeper technological expertise and a broader portfolio of services.

The Role of Hogenhouck M&A

The M&A process surrounding Bauhaus ArtITech was characterized by a unique combination of strategic advisory and technical implementation—a proposition that attracted various buyer groups. For the shareholders, the key priorities were finding a party with comparable DNA, a shared vision for digital transformation, and the capacity to strengthen Bauhaus commercially. BBTG emerged as the best strategic match: a buyer that understands and can reinforce both Bauhaus’s entrepreneurial culture and its ambitions.

Hogenhouck M&A guided the entire process: from the carve-out from 90North and market positioning to structuring the M&A process and ensuring a strategic fit. Thanks to this comprehensive approach, shareholders and the organization were able to move into the next phase with confidence.

Victor Rosier, Partner at Hogenhouck M&A, on the transaction: “Our priority was clear: to find a buyer who understands and reinforces Bauhaus’s unique combination of strategy and execution. By carefully structuring the carve-out and the entire process, we ensured a forward-looking integration with BBTG.”

Hans den Hartog and Lucas den Os on their collaboration with Hogenhouck M&A:“Hogenhouck M&A has truly proven to be an entrepreneurial sparring partner for us. They keep the lines of communication short, are always available, respond quickly, are pragmatic, and are simply a pleasure to work with during a process that can easily take 6–8 months. Thanks to Maarten van der Heijden, Victor Rosier, Tijmen Bruin, and Bas Schellekens for the thoroughly enjoyable collaboration!”

The project was carried out by Victor Rosier, Maarten van der Heijden, Bas Schellekens, and Tijmen Bruin.
